  1. First, check your Google Chrome version

    Check your current version Chrome by clicking three dots (setting) at the right top menu – Help – About Google Chrome.

  4. Next, right click the newly created shortcut and select “Properties”

  5. Now under the target field, add space at the end and add
    --force-dark-mode

    This is what looks like after modifying (you may have different path if you install chrome in different location)

  7. Now, you have 2 different shortcut for Google Chrome on your Windows desktop. Normal mode and Dark Mode
  8. Lastly, open the Chrome through the new shortcut to get Dark mode

Note: You may have to close your current Chrome to take effect and open the dark mode
